Shanghai, China, June 22, 2026 — At the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo, Honeywell highlighted its continued commitment to deepening integration with China’s industrial ecosystem, emphasizing supply chain resilience, localized innovation, and collaborative value creation across multiple high-growth sectors.

Yu Feng, President of Honeywell Greater China, stated during a media interview that China is not only a key component of Honeywell’s global strategy but also the core engine of its innovation and growth. He stressed that platforms such as the Supply Chain Expo serve as critical bridges for strengthening industrial cooperation and accelerating technological transformation.

Deepening Integration with China’s Innovation and Supply Chain Networks

Honeywell is participating in the Supply Chain Expo for the fourth consecutive year under the theme “Linking Chains, Enabling Innovation.” This year, the company is focusing on six major sectors: semiconductors, energy storage, data centers, shipbuilding and offshore engineering, low-carbon energy, and intelligent manufacturing with autonomous operations.

The company expanded its exhibition area to 250 square meters and, for the first time, jointly showcased solutions with nearly 100 domestic supply chain partners. These partners include core suppliers, strategic customers, and ecosystem collaborators, reflecting a stronger emphasis on industrial connectivity and co-development.

Yu Feng noted that stable and coordinated supply chains are fundamental to delivering technology and creating value. Through deep collaboration with upstream and downstream partners, Honeywell has strengthened its ability to ensure consistent delivery quality and meet increasingly complex customer demands.

Building a Fully Localized Value Chain in China

Honeywell has established a fully localized value chain in China, covering innovation, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and services. All of its business groups are now present in the Chinese market.

The company operates 10 R&D and engineering centers in China and holds thousands of active patents and patent applications, reflecting a significant transition from “Made in China” to “Created in China.”

This localized structure enables Honeywell to improve responsiveness, accelerate product development cycles, and better align with the evolving needs of China’s industrial transformation.

Expanding Ecosystem Collaboration Across High-Growth Industries

During the expo, Honeywell is also engaging in multiple ecosystem cooperation initiatives, including the signing of memorandums of understanding with partners in industries such as internet services, construction, and chemicals. The company is also collaborating with industry stakeholders to publish sector white papers focused on digitalization, smart operations, and lean management.

These initiatives aim to enhance enterprise operational efficiency and support the transition toward more autonomous, data-driven industrial systems.

Focus on High-Growth Sectors: Energy Transition and Industrial Digitalization

Honeywell emphasized its strategic focus on China’s rapidly expanding industries, including new energy vehicles, energy storage systems, and shipbuilding and offshore engineering.

By integrating advanced technologies with localized application scenarios, the company aims to shift from standalone product delivery to comprehensive system-level solutions. This transformation supports broader industrial goals of digitalization and decarbonization across the value chain.

Yu Feng highlighted that China’s strong market potential and industrial ecosystem provide a unique foundation for innovation-driven growth, enabling deeper collaboration between global technology providers and local partners.

Building a Low-Carbon and Resilient Supply Chain Ecosystem

Looking ahead, Honeywell aims to further strengthen its local supply chain strategy and expand multi-dimensional cooperation with industry partners. The company is committed to developing a more low-carbon, agile, and resilient supply chain ecosystem.

By fostering closer collaboration across the value chain, Honeywell seeks to enhance both its own operational efficiency and the competitiveness of its customers, supporting sustainable and high-quality industrial development.

Yu Feng concluded that Honeywell will continue to “link chains and enable innovation,” leveraging China’s industrial ecosystem to build a more sustainable and future-ready global supply network.
