Honeywell Celebrates 90 Years in China, Empowering Industrial Innovation with the “China Brain”

Time:2026-04-20 Browse: 1

At the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), Honeywell showcased its dual identity as both a seasoned veteran and a fresh innovator. With 90 years of deep roots in China, Honeywell has witnessed the evolution from “Made in China” to “Create with China.” As a returning exhibitor for the third consecutive CISCE, Honeywell continues to bring new innovations and surprises each year.

Three Reasons for Annual Participation

According to Yu Feng, President of Honeywell Greater China and Vice President of Process Automation, CISCE provides a unique, high-value platform. Honeywell leverages this venue to observe the resilience and vitality of China’s supply chain and to integrate deeply into broader innovation and value chains. Yu highlighted three key aspects:

  1. Deep Connectivity – Over three CISCE editions, Honeywell has not only presented cutting-edge technologies in smart manufacturing, smart buildings, energy transition, and aviation, but also engaged in high-quality, cross-industry dialogues with upstream and downstream partners. This direct interaction helps Honeywell better understand the Chinese market and strengthen localized collaborations.

  2. Driving Innovation – CISCE offers first-hand insights into China’s innovation needs. Customers increasingly demand end-to-end solutions, especially those supporting digitalization and sustainability goals. These insights inform Honeywell’s development of technologies and solutions tailored to local market demands.

  3. Strengthening Confidence – The ongoing openness signaled by CISCE reinforces the confidence of multinational companies like Honeywell, with 90 years in China, to continue long-term investment and development in the local market.

The “China Brain” in Action

By aligning local demand with rapid technology iterations, Honeywell adjusts its strategies in real time. CISCE serves as a synchronized platform where research, development, ecosystem building, and partnerships converge, enabling solutions customized for China.

At the third CISCE, Honeywell unveiled Smart Ship, an intelligent vessel solution developed by its local team, alongside a new Facility Management System module built on Honeywell’s Building Performance Suite (BPS). Over 95% of the exhibited solutions were developed in China, demonstrating the company’s commitment to local innovation.

Yu Feng also emphasized accelerated technology iteration and wider innovation scope, citing Honeywell’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) solutions, which attracted significant attention at CISCE and reinforced the market demand for low-carbon technologies.

Collaborative Market Strategy

CISCE highlights the importance of ecosystem collaboration. Honeywell’s strategy focuses on co-creation and win-win partnerships with local suppliers, customers, and partners to build resilient, low-carbon, intelligent supply chains. During the event, Honeywell also released the white paper “New Engine of Smart Manufacturing: Lean Digitalization and New Productivity in the Chemical Industry”, providing guidance for China’s chemical sector to enter a new era of lean digital operations.

Sharing Insights with New Participants

Yu Feng encouraged new exhibitors to clearly articulate their strategic value, design interactive and impactful demonstrations, and proactively connect with upstream and downstream partners. CISCE serves as a high-efficiency platform for fostering long-term collaborations.

“CISCE makes the global supply chain tangible and accessible,” Yu Feng said. “Honeywell will continue to participate as both exhibitor and co-builder, collaborating with partners to shape the future of coordinated industrial development.”
